Erskine & friends

Ralph Erskine’s 1950s house is being renovated alongside its neighboring buildings to form the trio “Erskine & Friends.” You are welcome to join a tour of this architectural gem and seven floors of beauty!

The architect Ralph Erskine’s 1950s house at Warfvinges väg 28 is currently undergoing a careful renovation. The building, which has aged with such dignity that it has become a piece of modern art, stands as a characterful landmark in the vibrant urban development area of Västra Kungsholmen. Together with its neighboring buildings at No. 24 and 26, it forms a trio where each house reflects its decade, designed by architects of their time. It now serves as a friendly workplace for companies, with a shared and welcoming ground floor entrance.

The story of these three buildings, now coming together as “Erskine & Friends,” begins in the joyful 1950s. Back then, they were part of the growth of the modern industrial city. Today, they are a beautiful reminder of a bygone era, yet equally a part of a vibrant urban development area with great ambitions.

On-site to present the project will be business developers from Castellum and the project’s architect, Gustav Appell. Tours will take place on Friday, October 4th, at 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, and on Sunday, October 6th, at 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The showroom for the property will be open during these times if you just want a preview.
