OPEN HOUSE STOCKHOLM

DIGITAL PROGRAM 2022

Opalen in Täby Park

Blandstaden is a highly sought-after model for building modern cities. In the rental housing district Opalen in Täby Park, Skanska takes this task seriously and incorporates the mix all the way down to the apartment level. The diversity of housing forms is a key aspect of Blandstaden. Residents have the flexibility to move between homes that suit different life stages and situations within the same area.

Opalen particularly focuses on creating meeting places that encourage community among residents. This is part of a larger intention for Täby Park: to combat involuntary loneliness. The courtyard features a small playground, a pergola, and seating areas where residents are likely to meet naturally. An added highlight is the large rooftop terrace where tenants from all four buildings can gather, with a view over the mixed-use city.

The Scilla Quarter in Täby Park

In a perfect location in Täby Park, in the middle of three parks and on a cozy square location, you will find the neighborhood Scilla, a net-zero energy house. Discover newly built bright homes with such high demands on sustainability that the block is counted as one of the most sustainable buildings in Sweden today. Here you can enjoy both the pleasant offer of small-town life and pleasant days on a lawn or playground. Two common roof terraces make sunny days and bright evenings something extra. Welcome to a better future in Täby Park.

Since the block is a net-zero energy house and therefore has an unusually large focus on sustainability, strict demands are placed on energy consumption and production. The house will generate as much renewable primary energy as it consumes. Therefore, the property has, among other things, solar cells on the roof, efficient windows and good insulation.

Hagastaden

Hagastaden is emerging above an advanced decking over motorways and railways between Vasastan and Karolinska. Already, over 4,000 people live here, and the area has attracted a knowledge-intensive business sector in life science. Here, you can find cutting-edge architecture, including Stockholm's tallest residential building, Norra Tornen, Aula Medica, and Cederhusen, all constructed entirely of wood. Come and gain insight into what the area has been, is, and will become. Hagastaden will be fully built by 2030.

Norra Djurgårdsstaden

Norra Djurgårdsstaden is one of Europe's most extensive urban development areas. In total, at least 12,000 new homes and 35,000 new workplaces are planned. One of the city's designated sustainability profile areas.

Norra Djurgårdsstaden stretches from Husarviken and Hjorthagen in the north to Värtahamnen and Loudden in the south. The development takes place to a large extent in areas that were previously used for port operations, gas production and other industrial operations.
